ORLANDO, Fla. — The Florida Coaches Coalition (FCC), the largest coaching organization in Florida, representing more than 17,000 coaches, today announced a partnership with the National Foundation for Integrative Medicine (NFIM) and DNA Vibe to provide 20,000 DNA Vibe Jazz Band wearable recovery devices to student-athletes across the state. With a retail value of $825 per kit, which includes DNA Vibe’s cutting-edge Jazz Band Mega Vibe, wireless Pro Power Pack, and an advanced Gel Pack, the initiative represents a $16.5 million investment in the health, wellness, and recovery of Florida’s student-athletes, making it one of the largest in-kind donations ever dedicated to high school athletics in the state’s history.
“This partnership represents a defining moment for student athletics in Florida,” said Dr. Andrew Ramjit, executive director of the Florida Coaches Coalition. “Every day, coaches ask young men and women to push themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally in pursuit of excellence. They deserve access to innovative recovery resources that help them stay healthy and perform at their best. We are incredibly grateful to the National Foundation for Integrative Medicine and its generous doners, along with DNA Vibe for believing in our mission and investing in the future of Florida’s student-athletes.”
The donation will provide student-athletes throughout Florida with access to wearable recovery technology designed to support the body’s natural regenerative capacity. The DNA Vibe Jazz Band is designed to help reduce injury, enhance performance, improve recovery, and support mental and emotional wellness, helping athletes prepare for, perform, and recover from the physical demands of training and competition.
“Our mission is to ensure that independently evaluated health and wellness technologies reach the communities that need them most,” said Dr. Peter Demitry, President of the National Foundation for Integrative Medicine. “Florida’s coaches spend every day looking after the health and safety of their student-athletes, and we’re proud to put these devices in their hands.”
Founded to advance whole-person healthcare through education, innovation, and strategic partnerships, the National Foundation for Integrative Medicine is committed to improving health outcomes by expanding access to evidence-informed integrative healthcare solutions. Through collaborations with organizations across the country, NFIM seeks to improve lives by making innovative healthcare technologies more accessible to communities that need them most.
Unlike conventional light therapy technologies that generally rely on relatively high optical energy alone, DNA Vibe’s patented multi-mode regenerative technology is built on the principle that the intelligent coordination of lower energy modes is more aligned with and supportive of our natural health and wellness processes. By combining ultra-low-level red and near-infrared light, randomized pulsed micro-vibration, and micro-magnetic signaling, DNA Vibe’s patented technology is uniquely designed to work in harmony with the body’s natural regenerative processes. DNA Vibe provides a convenient noninvasive solution for athletes, performance trainers, recovery specialists, and anyone looking to conquer their limits and live life more fully.
“Young athletes put tremendous demands on their bodies, often without access to the same recovery resources available at the highest levels of sport,” said Perry Kamel, Founder and CEO of DNA Vibe. “We believe elite-level recovery should be simple, accessible, and part of how athletes care for themselves every day. We’re proud to work with the Florida Coaches Coalition and NFIM to bring Jazz Bands to student-athletes across Florida.”
The announcement further expands the Florida Coaches Coalition’s statewide impact beyond legislative advocacy. While the organization recently helped lead the successful passage of Senate Bill 538, landmark legislation that provides Florida school districts with new options to improve compensation for athletic coaches, the Coalition remains equally committed to protecting the health, safety, and overall well-being of the hundreds of thousands of student-athletes served by its members.
Through statewide advocacy, professional development, coach education, strategic partnerships, and student-athlete safety initiatives, the Florida Coaches Coalition continues to elevate interscholastic athletics throughout Florida. The partnership with NFIM and DNA Vibe reflects the Coalition’s belief that supporting coaches also means investing in the health and success of the student-athletes they serve.
“This partnership demonstrates what is possible when organizations unite around a common purpose,” Dr. Ramjit added. “Our mission has never been limited to advocating for coaches. Everything we do is ultimately about creating better experiences, safer environments, and greater opportunities for the student-athletes and communities that our coaches serve every single day. Today’s announcement is another significant step toward that vision.”
In addition to its break-through technology designed to help people conquer their limits and live life more fully, DNA Vibe’s revolutionary manufacturing methods have sparked a growing world-wide trend toward local-community-based-manufacturing to help communities thrive. In sharp contrast to large-scale centralized “Mega-Plants” which strip productive capacity and self-sustainability from local communities, DNA Vibe manufactures its products in and with the communities it serves through Local Advanced Manufacturing Plants (“LAMPS”). Its community-revitalizing methods are now being taught at top-tier universities, have enabled the historic first-ever deployment of manufacturing operations into a war zone with its Ukraine LAMP deployment, and are supporting the Vatican’s global peace initiative.
As part of its partnership with the Florida Coaches Coalition and the National Foundation for Integrative Medicine, DNA Vibe is planning its next LAMP deployment for a soon-to-be-announced Florida community. “We’re excited to make our products in and with Florida communities,” said Perry, “but, even more so that Florida will play a pivotal role in this ground-breaking manufacturing revolution.” With a goal of persuading one thousand other manufacturers to embrace community-based manufacturing, DNA Vibe’s growing movement is on track to make a historic impact for families and communities in Florida, across the country, and around the world.
“Together with the National Foundation for Integrative Medicine, it’s incredibly energizing to be an integral part of such a historic initiative that aims to improve lives and the communities that support them,” added Dr. Ramjit.
Distribution details, eligibility requirements, and timelines for participating schools and student-athletes will be announced by the Florida Coaches Coalition in the coming weeks.
