Trina Murphy joins the FPA Board of Directors

Trina Murphy has joined the FPA Board of Directors. She is the new publisher of the Citrus County Chronicle & Florida Weekly Publications, replacing Gerry Mulligan who held the position for 40+ years. Trina began her career with the Chronicle in 1990 and worked her way up through the advertising & marketing side of the business. For the last 10 years she held dual roles as Operations Director and Advertising Director. She has been a board of directors member of Florida Newspaper Advertising and Marketing Executives for many years. In her free time, Trina is a fitness trainer and owns a small fitness studio, she has two young adult children and a husband who is also in the newspaper business. The Citrus County Chronicle & Florida Weekly Publications has recently been acquired by Paxton Media Group, a privately held media company currently owning 120 newspapers across 14 states.
