Panama City Beach, FL — March 15, 2026 — A new grassroots movement in skimboarding is making waves along the Gulf Coast. Shoreline Syndicate will host a free-entry skimboarding competition at M.B. Miller County Pier on the beaches of Panama City Beach, Florida, bringing together riders, spectators, and community members for a day dedicated to sport, connection, and youth inspiration.

The competition’s Main Event begins at 2:00 PM, where competitors will battle it out on the shoreline in front of one of the most iconic beach locations in Bay County.

Unlike most competitions, this event is completely free to enter. The goal is simple: remove barriers and make the sport accessible to anyone who wants to ride.

“Kids today are spending more time on their phones than out experiencing the world,” said CEO Joshua Moritz. “This competition is about giving them a reason to get outside, meet new friends, and become part of a community that pushes them to live life fully.”

Founded on the belief that skimboarding can be more than just a sport, Shoreline Syndicate is working to build a culture around adventure, creativity, and human connection. The organization’s mission is to grow skimboarding globally while creating welcoming spaces where young people can find mentorship, friendship, and freedom on the shoreline.

In keeping with that mission, the competition is being funded entirely out of pocket by the organizers, reinforcing their commitment to making the sport more inclusive and accessible to all.

The event will also feature a special halftime showcase presented by Gulf Coast Calisthenics, delivering an energetic demonstration of strength, movement, and athletic creativity that celebrates another side of outdoor fitness culture.

Spectators are encouraged to attend and support local riders as they compete in a high-energy beach competition set against the backdrop of the Gulf of America.

This event marks the beginning of what organizers hope will become a larger movement to expand skimboarding opportunities and inspire a new generation to embrace the outdoors.
