NAPLES AND SARASOTA, FL [August 27, 2026] — For the first time in its nearly 30-year history, International Design Source (IDS) will welcome the public and the trade to all nine of its Naples and Sarasota showrooms for the IDS Sample Sale, September 14–18, 2026.
The five-day special event will feature more than $12 million in on-floor merchandise, along with additional warehouse inventory, all offered at 50% off marked MSRP. The Sample Sale will be open to everybody from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Across more than 100,000 square feet of showroom space, shoppers will discover furniture, casegoods, outdoor furnishings, accessories, art, and lighting selected from the same high-quality resources that have made IDS a destination for Southwest Florida’s professional design community. Top featured vendors include, but are not limited to, Lexington, Vanguard, Caracole, Cisco, and Taylor King.
“This is a milestone event for IDS and something we have never done before,” said Emilio Sadez, owner and CEO of International Design Source. “As we approach our 30-year anniversary, we wanted to create a special opportunity for the community to experience the scale, variety and quality of IDS while helping us make room for the next generation of showroom introductions.”
The Sample Sale will include merchandise currently displayed throughout IDS showrooms as well as pieces from its warehouse inventory. Every item will be available for immediate purchase on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The event is intended as a simple, time-limited sale of existing inventory. It is not a change to IDS’s longstanding focus on serving interior designers and other design professionals. Outside of the five-day Sample Sale, IDS will continue operating as an exclusively to-the-trade resource.

The IDS Sample Sale follows a model seen at leading American design centers, where occasional floor-sample events create special purchasing opportunities while preserving the centers’ core relationships with the professional design trade.
