Distinctive Interiors

Stephanie Nolan, Owner & Principal Designer at Sarasota Interior Design company “Distinctive Interiors” located at 2639 Fruitville Road is traveling with her team this week to complete installation of a nearly 3 year project with NFL Celebrity, 4-Time Superbowl Champion Terry Bradshaw.

Terry relocated his Oklahoma home & horse ranch (Terry Bradshaw Quarter Horses) to Texas.

Nolan decorated Terry’s Florida home in The Concession, Lakewood Ranch (now sold) but stayed in touch with the Bradshaw’s as their designer on call for anything they needed.   Tammy Bradshaw, Terry’s wife called Nolan in 2023 and said they had purchased land in Texas and would be building their forever home and relocating their business and asked if Nolan would be interested.  “Of course”, replied Nolan and started the process of designing the Bradshaw’s new home on the 155 acre Texas property.

“It’s been a long process, but we have designed every facet of this project with the Bradshaws and the builder, Shadden Custom Homes”.  Nolan has painstaking designed and selected everything from salvaged, antique wood beams, to appliances from France.”   Distinctive Interiors working with Tammy specified all of the home finishes and details for the builder and sourced all of the interior items including all furnishings, window treatments, bedding, etc.   Nolan traveled to Texas several times to visit the Dallas Markets at the World Trade Center, as well as stores in Fort Worth, Highpoint Market in NC and local TX antique shops with Tammy.  Nolan also designed custom furniture for the residence which was fabricated in Mexico.

“It’s been a compilation of many years of searching for items and working with the Bradshaw’s to design their dream home.”   Stone slabs were selected in Texas, but when the kitchen countertop slabs color didn’t arrive in the right colorway after waiting 5 months, Nolan reached out to local stone/granite company Ouro Preto Stone in Bradenton.   They traced a batch back 5 years to the exact color Nolan & Tammy Bradshaw wanted, and Ouro Preto Stone procured slabs from Brazil with delivery to SRQ in 60 days and out to Texas the very next morning.

It all comes to completion this week, with Nolan and the Distinctive Interiors team traveling to Texas to deliver and complete the Bradshaw home.   Most of the interior items have been delivered & stored in Dallas with the custom furniture pieces being shipped from Guadalajara, Mexico to Laredo, Texas then directly to the Bradshaw home.

The home will be professionally photographed by Nathan Schroder of Dallas and the Bradshaw’s have engaged with NBC’s Open House TV show for filming the home this spring.
