Gulfshore Life magazine is looking for an energetic, creative and self-motivated candidate for a full-time entry level staff writer position in its Custom Publications department, which produces up to 18 specialty titles a year. We cover homes, real estate, health, luxury goods, the local community—you name it. It’s a perfect opportunity to report and write on a host of subjects, hone your craft and learn from an experienced team of seasoned journalists.
Applicants should have a background in journalism or related discipline and have some knowledge of the Naples area and Southwest Florida in general. Excellent writing, reporting and communication skills are musts. Talent at using the Internet as a reporting tool is a plus. Candidates should have the ability to work well under tight deadlines, skillfully manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively operate in a close-knit team environment. Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, English, Communications or related field is required, as is at least one year of academic-related or work experience.
