As America marks its 250th anniversary, the Florida Press Association invites you to participate in the Freedom 1 Initiative.
The Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution are the foundation of our nation’s freedoms, rights, and system of government. Through Freedom 1, readers, students, families, and communities across Florida are encouraged to explore these historic documents in their original, unedited form and reconnect with the principles that have guided our nation since its founding.
