Public Notice Day 2019

Public Notice Day 2019

March 13, 2019
Tallahassee, FL

In partnership with:

The second annual Public Notice Day will be held the second week of the 2019 Legislative Session. We encourage publishers and senior media executives to come to Tallahassee to participate in educating our legislators about the value of public notices and the role of the news media in the local community. You are encouraged to set meetings with the legislators from your district on this day, as the members of Florida’s news media comes together to make their presence felt in Tallahassee. (Find your state representative here and your senator here.)

At noon Wednesday, there will be a lunch featuring speaker Florida Senate Majority Leader Kathleen Passidomo at The Aloft Downtown Tallahassee. Tickets to the luncheon are $40. Register for the luncheon below.

There will be a legislative training session at 4:30 – 5:30 pm Tuesday, March 12 that will provide details about key talking points and answer any questions, with a reception at 5:30 pm.

Additionally, FPA is coordinating an advertising campaign with eighth, quarter, and full page ads to run in every member newspaper. Insertion orders will be sent by Intersect Media Solutions two weeks in advance, and the ads will also be posted on this page.
