CREDENTIALING NOW OPEN FOR “Race for the U.S. Senate” TELEVISED DEBATE Sen. Marco Rubio v Congresswoman Val Demings
The Florida Press Association is proud to host the Decision 2022 “Before You Vote” series with other partners and sponsors: The James Madison Institute, AARP Florida, Florida Trend, the Leroy Collins Institute, Florida Realtors, Florida Everglades Foundation, Florida League of Cities, WPBF 25 and Palm Beach State College.
WPBF 25, the Hearst Television-owned ABC affiliate in West Palm Beach, will be the lead producing station. The debate will be broadcast live, October 18 from 7-8 pm, EDT, except in Pensacola and Panama City, where they will be broadcast one hour later because of time zone differences. A consortium of network affiliate television stations -one in each of Florida’s 10 markets are committed as broadcast partners. Alongi Media will serve as Executive Producer.
Credentialing is now open for members of the media who wish to cover the event. The media filing center is located at Palm Beach State College’s Lake Worth Campus. The candidates are invited to answer questions of the media after the debate.
The media filing center will be open from 2:00 – 10:00 pm. The debate will be presented on screen in the media filing center.
