Nancy Solliday to oversee advertising for Gannett’s Sarasota, Lakeland markets
The Sarasota Herald-Tribune and The Ledger in Lakeland have a new regional vice president of advertising. Nancy Solliday, a 35-year veteran with Gannett, the news organizations’ parent company, started her role this week.
She began her career in Rochester, N.Y. Throughout her career she’s held leadership roles in several markets, including in Detroit, Mich., and Fort Myers. Most recently, she led advertising at FLORIDA TODAY in Brevard County as well as at Gannett’s three Treasure Coast properties.
“I have seen a lot of change over my career,” Solliday said. “As media consumption has changed, our business model has also changed. I have loved being at the forefront of that digital transformation.”
