What’s in a name? Sometimes a lot more than we think.
I’ll admit it: As a middle-aged white male, I may not be as woke as the next person. But I’m trying to be more sensitive and aware of how others view, hear and read the tidal wave of information that’s dumped on us all every day.
As a member of the media, I am acutely aware of one reality: The words I type each day have an intended context as they leave my fingers; however, those words may not be received by a reader in the same context.
