Inside Sales Account Executive

The Bradenton Herald, a McClatchy media company is currently seeking an Inside Sales Account Executive for our Advertising Division. The successful candidate will be responsible to drive growth through new accounts and up sell of existing accounts. This position is a salary plus commission position.

  • Manage an existing book of business
  • Acquire new business for multiple products through aggressive prospecting
  • Execute on all phases of the sales cycle such as lead generation, prospecting, research, customer impact assessment, proposal generation, campaign implementation, account management / optimization, and follow up
Experience & Skills
  • Two years inside and/or outside sales with proven success or undergraduate degree with sales specialization
  • Media or digital sales a plus
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge and use of consultative sales practices
