We’ve revamped the categories to create a more relevant and competitive contest. Download the List of Categories & Descriptions to review this year’s categories. The deadline to submit your entries is February 28, 2013. The contest is open to all Florida Press Association monthly, semi-monthly, weekly, semi-weekly and tri-weekly newspaper members, active and affiliates, in good standing, and whose 2013 dues are current by the date of contest entry and were FPA members in 2012. Entries must have been published between Jan. 1, 2012 and Dec. 31, 2012. Entries to the Display Advertising Contest will be submitted using a web-based program at www.betternewspapercontest.com. This will require you to save and prepare your entries for submission in a digital format. For more information about file requirements click here. Another exciting change this year is the awards presentation. We will be handing out new first place trophies and other winning certificates at a presentation combined with a training workshop.
